Established in 2012, Midwest CRC is dedicated to conducting clinical trials in partnership with industry leading pharmaceutical firms, academic institutions, and federal government agencies. Our focus is on contributing to the advancement of medical science and patient care in Crystal Lake, McHenry County, and surrounding communities.
Midwest CRC is led by a team of esteemed investigators specializing in internal medicine, endocrinology, and metabolism. Our team includes Lead Principal Investigator Dr. Oscar Sanchez and Clinical Research Manager Alka Maheshwari.
We have conducted research in areas including hypertension, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular outcomes, skin conditions, obesity, diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), and chronic kidney disease. Our collaborations extend to teams at Eli Lilly, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi.
